Subject:Free sound effects?

Hi!

I'm looking for sources for free sound effects (laser blasts, explosions, jet engines, etc.). I'm going though the CD and the online areas (Get Media from Acid Pro) but am not finding everything I need -- not much at all really. Does anyone know of any places (web sites) for this?

If you have a soundblaster card you can use Sound Fonts that can be downloaded from SoundBlaster.com

I also bought a CD set called 10,000 Sounds from Data Becker that has 10 cd's of music loops etc and includes one Sound Effects CD.
