I have tested what the batch converter do, but I have a question:
If I try to convert a wav file with a plu-in like a vinil restoration I have noticed the the dimension of the file become very big. (24,82Mb ---> 46,62Mb)

Why ????

What Have I wrong ?

thank

Because SF products now do internal processing at 32-bit, which is much better soundwise than just 16-bit, like the old SF versions.

You have to tell the batch converter to convert the files to 16-bit. 44.1k. Just select the option that highlights the fields on the bottom of the tab. Some say you shouldn't have to do this extra step because of the way the script tap is written. It is not a bug but just written very poorly and confusing. I hope enough people like me complained to SF that they are now working on a patch to fix this and the other shortcommings/bugs/confusing things about this.

I just used the batch converter 5.o for several transforms this morning and it worked great.

Thank you for your replay.

I have also tested The Batch Converter vs the other Batch Converter used by WaveLab, Steinberg, I feel this last one is little better. More fast, easy to use and friendly, but I belive it depends from what people like and prefer.

This only my opinion.
