Subject:Cubase VST 32 and Acid Pro 3

Anyone using both Cubase and Acid Pro 3 on the same system. Cubase doesn't like direct x 8, Acid 3 "requires" direct x 8. I'm a current user of Acid Pro 2- considering the upgrade...

I'm deep shit with this problem right now. I thought I had found a solution on how to remove directx now by altering the date of the directx in the registry. I have installed directx 7a, but still Cubase crashes and the system too, when I try to insert an effect and Acid won't open old files. It's a mess. Do you have a solution????

Check out the DirectX Buster program. It removes DirectX 8 from your system. It's located at http://www.directxbuster.de/ (I am using Cubase VST 32 R5 with Acid Pro 3.0 under DirectX 8, and so far no big problems.)
