Yea, but that doesn't help the next person. What was the problem and what was the solution? That's what makes the forums more valuable. If you document your experience the next person can find the answer without having to make another post.

Yes Johnny, you're right

First I had trouble registering - somehow it didn't work with Opera, but IE7 worked ok.

Then I entered my serial number but had trouble getting the Product Key - it took an hour to arrive by email, and by then I'd found my own way by trial and error:
The final path I found, after logging in, was Registration / Activation Key / Click here to download product key

I thought I properly registered when I installed the program yesterday but I keep getting the message that "this copy of ARIA for ACID Pro is not registered. Do you want to register online now?" The first time today I clicked "yes" and tried to re-register just for kicks and after doing so, their Website came back and said "this serial # is already registered". It clearly showed all my info and says I am registered (and logged in) but I keep getting the message. So now when I open the file with the Garritan ARIA MIDI file in the song, I just click "no". I emailed Garritan and if I get a solution I'll be back to post it.

When I eventually succeded, I got a .png of a "plastic card" with my name on it. I saved the image to my HD, and also received another copy by email.

I copied this to my music computer, then, after opening a track with Aria, I dropped the png onto the Aria interface and it said "Registered", and has been fine since then.

I didn't get mine in the email but I was able to right click on the image on the Website and save it in "my pictures". Then I was able to drag it in to the "program window" when I had the song open just like you did. I closed the song down and then opened it again and guess what? I didn't get the prompt this time. That's pretty cool technology!!!!

Yes, I've never seen this method before. I may even take my laptop to a local ATM and see if I can drag the card across and draw some money out!

I hope you got your issue resolved. I got to the same point in the registration, except I had no software for the Aria Player

My copy never installed properly in the first place. Never showed up anywhere. After reading this thread particularly about the registration process, I'm going to live without it. I'm already spending way too much time begging dozens of third parties for reactivation of their plugins after crashes and disk deaths. Other than that, I'm fine. Thanks for asking.

If one hovers at the "My Account" link at the top of this page and then selects, "My Software," one should be taken to a page of registered software. Clicking the "Download" link for ACID Pro 7 should take one to a page where one can download ARIA (in addition to the other goodies like KitCore).
