Are these files really necessary? Whenever I start editing the folder fills up with these files.. Then I have to delete them as they just sit there and get in the way (and look ugly and useless).. They dont seem to make a difference on file info as when I delete them and reopen the associated .mp3 file all the markers are all still there... Whats the deal with these files? Thanks. |

They are the files that contain the peak image data for the timeline. If you delete them, then they get rebuilt when you open the file. Takes time. It is easy enough to sort by file type in Explorer to move them out of the way. |

You have the option to have SF delete the file upon closing the program (where they will be rebuilt the next time you open their corresponding files) or hiding them altogether. Looks in Preferences, under the General tab. |
