Backup of database

I was wonderibng if anybody backs up the database that I assume mose of the information (like project Media ) is stored in? I backup my files and clips all the time but I assume everything else is stored somewhre else? I guess I assume that is not in the .veg file but maybe it is. Anyway, does anyone know?

There is no such database.

The VEG file simply has references to the files you are currently backing up.

If you back up the media files and back up the VEG files, that's it. That's everything.

No, the Media Manager (if you install it) uses an SQL Server Express database. I don't use it because I don't do that much production. You can back up the database files (.mdf, and .ldf) if you stop the SQL Server services in Administrative Tools. Remounting these files (should you ever need to do so) again has to be done with SQL Server stopped.
