Subject:Acid Pro 7 not working on Windows 7 64bit

Since I upgraded to Windows 7 64bit several months ago, Acid Pro 7 is the only Sony application that is not working (Vegas, Sound Forge, Cinescore all work fine). I've uninstalled, done a clean install, done a clean install as an administrator, etc. all to no avail. It seems to crash on the Rewire initialization. I have the latest version of Rewire that came with Propellerheads Record. Any ideas of what might be the problem?

I have ACID Pro 7 working perfectly fine in Windows 7 64-bit. I'm guessing that Propellerheads Record is the issue (since I don't have that). Hopefully Peter will see this and give you a workaround. You might want to contact Sony tech support. It sounds like a conflict that only the developers can work out.

Does it crash on anything else, or just on Rewire initialisation ?

Tried reverting to an earlier Rewire version ?

Remember that Rewire is not 64 bit - only 32 and the PropHeads show no sign of even working on 64 bit Rewire.
