Subject:Default User Settings - Which file? Reg or xml?

I'm looking for a file or a registry entry that changes when you edit settings in the options preferences pages.

The reason being I want to change the default settings for all users so they don't get the generic ones on first use.

ACID uses the registry for its internal settings.

The registry settings are not something you can edit as they are not labled - you wont know which reg entry is for what setting.

I highly recommend you don't attempt to edit ACID's settings in the registry. You could break ACID and force yourself to reset the app to defaults.

Its okay we found what we did last time.

Edited the settings then exited ACID.

Exported the registry from the SONY ACID tree in regedit as a reg file and then run as a startup item.

I'd only do that on a fresh install, where the different users had had no chance to install or alter anything themselves.
