Can't get this Orchestra working - works as standalone but haven't managed to get it working within Acid Pro 7 - any hint or tips?

I don't see ACID listed as a supported host at their website (though, I can't see why it wouldn't work). Is it listed in the plug-in manager?

You know that ARIA comes with ACID Pro 7? It may not be as fully featured as its bigger cousin (Personal Orchestra) but it's great nonetheless.

It is under plug-ins - softsynths; loads without problem but no sound

Yes i know about Aria!

East West had a free (silver) Play version available with limited instruments not so long ago - really sounds amazing in standalone mode

According to EWQL, Acid isn't officially supported, however I can attest that it works fine. I use several EWQL libraries within ACID Pro 7 without too much trouble.

If you need help setting it up, I can try to help. It's actually quite easy to get it going in Acid.

I can also attest to this: EWQL Symphonic Orchestra does work in Acid 7.0. I have 8 other EWQL libraries that are working with it. Sometimes it is quirky and I have to tinker with the MIDI channels but outside of that, good to go.

More stumped today... opened EWQL Play in Acid music studio:
No problems at all and working fine

Difference is in the streaming tab (settings in Play)
"engine level exceeded available system resources" only within Pro

I'm also very interested in how you guys are managing to get it to work in ACID. Are you using the PLAY versions or the old Kontakt versions? I have the same problem as rsp in that the streaming engine of PLAY consistently fails.

Installed Play on another machine and got that same "engine level" error....
Guess time to move on and leave Play behind - thanks for all who commented
and mailed!
