Subject:Where are Midi Takes stored?

My current project has a bunch of Midi takes, which according to my Options/preferences/folders should be in <Project> (my choice).
Upon browsing, I see no Midi files anywhere...are they embeded in the .acd file? Must I export them manually to have access to them other than in the project?

ACID does not create MIDI files for recorded MIDI tracks. The MIDI data is stored as part of the project.

Yes, you must export your MIDI clips/takes from the track's clip pool.
