Subject:24 Bit audio File don't play

I have a 24 Bit sound card (Tascam US-428) and it works. When I open a 24bit sound file in SoundForge it plays but no sound comes out.

I set the WAVE preference to use the US-428 directly.

Anyone have a clue?

What ver of Sound Forge are you using? 3.0,4.0,4.5 or 5.0?

Could it be that when I installed SF5 I did not have a 24 bit sound card and now that I do it isn't configured properly?
