Subject:Kore 2 as Mackie Emulator

I have read the manuals for both Kore 2 and Acid Pro 6 plus Sony's whitepapers and countless forum posts but I can't work out how to automate the volume envelope using Kore's Mackie emulation.

I can control the volume fader in the track header but how do I get the fader to respond once I have flipped it over to automation mode?

I can set various MCU controls in Kore's editor but I do not know what is required.
I have looked in Acid's Configure Mackie Control preferences but can't find any mention of volume automation.

I've run out of ideas, any help please?
