I'm recording a midi track, and when I forget to arm the track and then press Record, Acid creates a new (armed) track...this would be OK if the new track had the proper settings...but...I'd rather get a warning that no tracks are armed. I can change the default behavior here, can't I? Thanks |

Not that I'm aware of. If it was possible I guess we'd all be complaining that we missed that 'vital moment'. You can always cut/paste the new midi data to your configured track. geoff |

Well, it's just that the default opens up an audio track which nulls my stunning Midi take...no input at all. I guess I'm used to my main audio program giving me a heads up -"no tracks armed". A good deal of my errors in the software domain have to do with juggling knowledge of several and their similar but different interfaces and abilities. Acid is my go to program for fun with looped based material, but not one and only love. Thanks |

Ah, OK. But after missing a few, presumably unrepeatable, stunning takes you should have trained yourself to get things set up right. ;-) geoff |
