Earlier today, I was working on a project. I tried to access the file later, and now I receive the following exception error:

Does anyone know how I can reopen the project again based on the exception message above? Based on my limited knowledge, it might be a memory access issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it just this one project? Have you tried other things like restarting your system? Reinstalling ACID?

Yes, it is just one project, but a very darn good one (which is not too common for me. lol). My other projects under construction, in Acid Pro 7, are fine.

I managed to reduplicate the project from a few freeze WAV files saved on my hard drive, and the other parts I recorded again from scratch. However, if I could somehow reopen the file again, it would be great. I can only imagine that some parts might be slightly different now.

It is my first major issue with Acid Pro 7. Stuff happens. I just hope it is not an on-going bug or problem. My Acid program is up-to-date with the most recent patches.

The corrupt project was created in the acd-zip format, and worked fine until I froze a few MIDI tracks.

This is most likely the cause. We have seen cases where the frozen wave files are not included in the zip archive, preventing ACID from locating the files.

You may be able to recover by taking the ACID zip project and expanding it manuall. An acd-zip file is just a zip archive.

Copy the acd_zip project to a directory of your choice. Rename its extension to .zip. Then unzip the file. You will get a project and its media. Load the project from this location.

The frozen wave data may be lost, but you should be able to unfreeze the midi tracks and start again.
