Help: SF5 Plugins Distorted when used in VST -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Help: SF5 Plugins Distorted when used in VST Posted by: jgourd Date:5/31/2001 3:29:52 PM I hope someone can help. I have SF5 installed on the same machine as Cubase VST 5 r4. All the Sonic Foundry plugis sound distorted when I attempt to use them in VST. Sound Forge itself doesn't run because I only have an ASIO type driver for my sound card installed. I am wondering if the distortion is because I am working in 24 bit mode, or because SF5 was installed when I only had a 16bit sound card, or SF5's plugins require that I install the WDM drivers in addition to the ASIO drivers?
