Anyone having problems changing the default folders in AP7 and saving them, only to find that when you open the same project again the folders all revert back to the standard C: drive? I do this through the options menu under tools. The new file locations stay set for that work session, though you can't change the temp location without the "you must restart" dialog. When you do restart, surprise!... all the changes you made to folders revert back to the C:documents/quack/quack folder. As an aside, if I leave the folders set to the default C drive and not one of my other media drives, I get TERRIBLE performance, even after a defrag, etc. Think this is a bug???? Were you referring to all the folder options under Options > Preferences > Folders or just specific options like the temp folder? There was a bug with folder preferences not saving awhile ago but that was squashed. (And it was usually solved by simply resetting your folder preferences once more before that.) Iacobus |
