Hello, sorry if this is an old question...... I would like to know if the registration is transferrable.... yes/no...maybe so? I hope so, because I have Version 6 and 7 that I was hoping to sell. If anyone is interested I'll be selling ACID 6 and ACID 7, included with it is two genuine dics of Drums on Demand Vol 2 and 3. |

If these are "full" copies and were not used to ride you into an upgrade scenario - I believe they can be sold. Contact SMS - they will sort you out. Cheers! VP |

Yes, you can transfer your ownership of ACID. What you do is contact SMS with the new owner's details and they will invalidate your license key, transfer owenership to the buyer, and issue them a new license key in their name. (they will not give the key to you for obvious reasons) If you used the software to upgrade, the new owner will not be allowed to upgrade the license. I bought my first copy of ACID Pro 4 on eBay and the owner had not upgraded so I not only got my own license key but was able to use it to upgrade to version 5 and have been doing so ever since. ~jr |
