Subject:DirectX Plugin problems in SF 5.0b

I recently bought and upgraded to Sound Forge 5.0b and I left my previous version of SF 4.5 installed. I've found that SF 5.0b doesn't pickup the XFX1, XFX2, XFX3, Noise Reduction, Wave Hammer plugins, and probably many others. I've reinstalled all the plugins and I know SF 5.0b installs most those plugins I mentioned above by default. The files for those plugins appear in the "shared plugins" directory yet SF 5.0b only picks up the Express FX plugins. SF 4.5 sees all of the plugins just fine. I have also installed SF 5.0b on 2 other machines and encountered the same problem. And from reading through the many posts on this form, it seems that others are have similar problems as I am. I hope this issue gets solved in the next patch cause it's kinda of a nuisance to toggle between SF 4.5 and SF 5.0 to edit sound files. Thanks

If i understand you right you can't find the plugins.
You find the XFX, Wave Hammer and other plugins in the Effect menu and no longer in the DX menu.

Ahh .. my bad .. I never realized that they implemented the plugins in to the standard 'process' and 'effect' menus. I've spent all this time looking in the DirectX menus. I'm so used to the way it is in SF 4.5. Thanks for the info!
