If i add the Kontakt4 VSTi as a soft synth, fill the rack w a single instrument,, then save the project as a template, the project will not recall the instrument. Massive or Kompakt VSTi will recall the last instrument. Shouldn't a VSti be configurable and persistent within a DAW ? Using AP6.

Adding to original post:
Build midi project w K4 as VST, save, reload, Acid will deselect K4 as a synth (midi out button = "None"), K4 is loaded but no instrument. Reselecting K4 as midi out and saving will guarantee Acid hangs on next reload.
