Hi, I'm new at this and just wondered...is there a way to copy the right channel of a track and paste it to the left channel in the same track? I try to copy and paste, but it only pastes it the same into another track...but they are both right...do I have to feed the guitar in on both L & R inputs to get this to happen? Please reply. Thank you.

?

When I record guitar, I usually set ACID up for loop recording and fire away until I get the desired amount of takes that I wanted. (Enable loop recording by pressing Q on your keyboard; the Loop Region will turn blue. Place the Loop Region where you'd like to loop the project as you record takes over and over. ACID will create a "clip" for each pass through the Loop Region as you record.)

I then copy and paste the tracks and then pan hard left and right. (Note I do this when recording mono.) I then go through each track and cycle through the clips. (Highlight the clip and question by clicking on it and using C to cycle forward and Shift + C to cycle backward.)
