Where is "Click Removal" in Sound Forge 5.0? -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Where is "Click Removal" in Sound Forge 5.0? Posted by: hribas Date:5/29/2001 12:08:07 AM As a user of Sound Forge 4.5, one of the most important tools to remove the clicks from my digitalized vinyl records was "Click Removal" from the "Tools" menu. This powerfull tool was activated after the instalation of Noise Reduction plugin version 4.0e. In Sound Forge 5.0, I simply can´t find "Click Removal" even after the installation of Noise Reduction. Is this tool not avaliable for Sound Forge 5.0? I hope not! I missed it a lot! :-))

I had the same problem as you until I completely un-installed SF 5, reinstalled SF 4.5 and plugins, and then re-installed SF 5. The plugins for SF 4.5 were now also available in SF 5. One caution: Traces of SF 5 were still somewhere even after uninstalling it and it wouldn't allow me to reinstall SF 4.5. I had to reformat to the bare metal and start from scratch. There must be an easier way but the well meant suggestions of the SF people didn't work - only reformating did the job. Ugh!
