Subject:Can't open .AVI files !!! pse help

Hello using Soundforge v4.5 and can't open AVI files, program says to me that "error occur, a VIdeo codec is missing".
But pse help me what kind of codec i need to install and where can I find it !! on the site i don't find plugins or other programs...

Can you open the AVI's with Microsoft's Media Player?

Yes of course i open all avi files with Mplayer and also avi encoded with div-x.
But the file that i can't open is a normal file taken from Pinnacle Miro TV tuner...
So i tried to install SForge v5.0 and all is good, i open avi files without problem , ciao tks by
