vegas pro 8 error

Hello. I loaded the latest upgrade to my Vegas Pro 8. I captured some video and dropped it in the timeline. When I move my pointer into the time line the timeline immediately fills the whole screen, blocking my docking area and I get this error message: "An error occured while processing the undo buffer. you should immediately save your work under a new name, close vegas and restart it. The reason for the error could not be determined." Has anyone seen this problem before? Do I need to change by buffer settings? Should I reinstall pro 8 and not load the upgrade? Any suggestions is welcomed.

I use the latest 8c & don't have that.

Do what it says & see if that helps. It could be a clip you're loading, not sure.

Are your sound card drivers updated?
Are you selecting ASIO drivers in Vegas preferences?

I did whatit said several times, and my sound card settings were correct. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling and now all works fine. I don't know what the problem was but reinstalling took care of it. Thanks
