Subject:disabling compression

new to Soundforge,
got a wicked drumloop I have mixed up in Soundforge , need to import to Cubase for mix, insists on compressing it, how can I change this? Cubase won't recognise the compressed audio file, I am a newbie to Soundforge. Help please !!!!

As long as you save your file out as a wav file, it should be usable in any Windows audio editing app. Select "wav" or it might say "Microsoft wave" as the save as type when you save out the file.
