Required recompress for bluray?

Why DVDA forcing me to recompress my already compressed bluray mpeg2?

Without knowing more about the file (its specs, where it originated from, length, etc.) it's hard to speculate.

ok..so I'm FINALLY getting back to this question. I found that DVDA5 will recompress my bluray mpeg2 (from vegas 9) when it has been compressed in Vegas at anything over 25Mbps. Why won't it let me use anything greater than that? The file is only 8GB at 25Mbps so it has plenty of more room.
