I see where you can use the Behringer Fader for the 6.0 version (downloadable insturictions from Sony) of Acid BUT does this also work with the 7.0 version of Acid?? I noticed that @ the Behringer website, they offer a USB driver to download that is NOT the Same that is called on on the Sony Download....yep, HOPE this works b/c the Behringer is showing up tomorrow in the mail!!

I can't see why not; since it appears that the BCF2000 functions like any other MIDI controller, you should be able to set up the BCF to control whatever it is you'd like in ACID.

I can confirm that in Mackie emulation mode the BCF 2000 works perfectly in ACID Pro 7. I've been using mine since day one of the 7.0 release
Just follow the instruction in the manual.

Yep - BCF works fine in A7.

However this is slightly relevant and interesting:

My BCF just died ( I thought) and I've picked up a used real Mackie MCU. But it appears that the problem was the Windows MIDI 'bug', invoked by simply having plugged the BCF into a different USB port !

What happens is that you can only have 10 midi ports installed, and once installed they don't go away, even if removed. If you plug into a different USB port, more devices are added, and if you end up going over 10, then the latest will just not show up at all as a MIDI port !

Just a Win gotcha to look out for ...
