Vegas hanging for 30 seconds on and off

I just installed Windows 7 on my machine after using windows 7 RC for a while. I haven't had any issues until today. I have HDV footage on the timeline and every few minutes or so as I am working Vegas hangs for about 30 seconds then catches back up and begins working fine....its very frustrating. Any help?

Are you sending output to an External Monitor - via firewire?

Going back to 9.0b will definitively help! This intermediate hang under some not so special circumstances - is a nasty and a recognized problem in 9.0c!!! I switched to 9.0b and this problem disapperared (ok, other surfaces, but that's another story).

If the hang bothers you (btw - why would it not bother - ANY user), then either edit in 8.0c, or 9.0b.

SCS - this IS pathethic. WHEN DO WE GET A FIX ??? ??? ???

I have two big projects just waiting and waiting. I am NOT able to edit in 9.0b due to the bad playback of AVCDH material from the timeline. I am not able to edit in 9.0c due to the hang. I am forced to use version 8.0c to get some job done!!! I am not able to use version 9 that I payd for - a full price. Three bug fixes later it is still dysfunct. Come on, version 9 was released a very long time ago. This is really BAD!
