I've installed the drivers for this device from CD, and XP has it listed as an Audio Input and Output Device, and for Midi, even though it has no midi connections. Inside Acid Pro Preferences, it is not listed as an Audio Device, but it does appear as a Midi device. I'm hoping to be able to use it sometimes as an 8 port Audio Interface for Acid, and to some extent as a Control Device. Does anyone know what's needed to make this possible? Thanks, Peter |

Inside Acid Pro Preferences, it is not listed as an Audio Device... Select Wave Classic in ACID. Does it appear in the list of ports? You wont see it as a specific device unless you have ASIO drivers installed for it. Does this device have ASIO drivers? Did you install them? Peter |

The Zoom H4 has its own proprietary ASIO drivers (i.e. ASIO4ALL does not work). I assume that this would be the same, so try looking for ASIO drivers on the CD. marks |

Thanks Peter and Marks - I found some ASIO drivers at the Zoom site, have downloaded and installed these and R16 is now listed as an Audio Device in Acid and Vegas. I haven't got the Control Surface thing going yet, but progress is progress ... Peter |
