Subject:Can a workspace be saved in acid?

I have Acid Pro 7 and I was wondering if there is a way to save a workspace (like Sony Vegas). I have an M-Audio fast track ultra usb unit connected to my pc with 8 ins and 8 outs. I program drum tracks and soft synths with Acid and then send the instruments out seperate tracks to a Tascam 2488neo portastudio. I was able to create sub faders ok and rename the labels to avoid confusion, but there does not appear to be a way to save the layout so that the next time I open Acid the faders are there and labeled. I have to re-set them up every time. The only other thing I can think of to do is save the project on my desktop and use that to start all of my projects.
Or am I missing something?

No, ACID does not have workspace layouts or project templates. You work around is your best solution.

Sounds like the best way to me. I have dual video card, and the layout will always reopen however I left it on 2 monitors. An empty project with labelled faders should be a good workaround.

Thanks everybody. If I save the project to my desktop the faders are all there but the labels underneath the faders still reset. I guess the labels are only there until you close Acid. Oh well. I changed the actual audio card output labels under preferences and those stick for all projects so I can live with that. The audio card labels appear above the faders.
