successful the multi channel decoding light came on the
receiver and the desired music came from the desired

CD music only has 2 channels.
you can use some non-linear editing tool to make 2 tracks
to 6 tracks (surround simulation....)
when you put yor 16bit/44.1KHz two track to left and right
you can omit the other 4 tracks.
**two channel encoding will not sound good in softencode
only the six channel will sound good. So the other four
channel will be left empty (silent).**

Try previewing the encoded track first. I have problems
when not previewing and just burn ahead.
defrag and cleanup drive before you stop encoding.
burn at low speeds (2-4X) fast speeds will cause non-linear
reading.

I have tried this and stable operations of 5.1 Test CD

thankyou for your time
