Sound Forge XP for web? Deciding on what to buy... -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Sound Forge XP for web? Deciding on what to buy... Posted by: riteshb Date:5/16/2001 11:09:49 AM I downloaded the demo version of Sound Forge XP but am not sure if I'll be able to use it for creating fairly small (30-60 second clips) for our website from a CD. Since it won't let me save, I'm not sure if it's the right software. We don't have a streaming audio/video server-- and don't need one--but are the file formats (Real Audio, Windows Media, or mp3) saved in a way that you have to have a special server for them to be played on? I don't need clips that short to be streamed. Any help would be great in deciding if I want to purchase this product since the basic editing is very easy to do.
