Hello, everyone. I think I need "Acoustic Mirror for Dummies." I just got SF 5.0. I went to the Acoustic Mirror option to experiment, but it seems very "empty," -- no factory installed pre-sets like the other features in Sound Forge 5.0. In fact, I can't get it to do anything special to my existing waves. Am I supposed to fill it up with options myself by downloading stuff from Sonic Foundry? A little help, please. - pup |

It's JUST YOU. ;-) There are more presets for accosutic mirror then you can imagine ... every kind of pro-microphone ever made, halls, stadiums ,etc. etc. However, if you bought the downloadable version, you have to download all of these presets independtly of the original download. There are a lot, but if you have a broadband connection (like me) it's a walk in the park. Dial up ... it would be a nightmare. If you bought the physical product (CD version) I'm not sure. You might just need to copy the files from the CD manually or something. -Tim |

Ohhhhhhhhhh. Duh -- now I get it. There all on my CD. Do I just put in the CD when I need a characteristic, or am I supposed to load them on the computer from the disc. (Can you tell I'm new at this?) - pup |
