On my old computer I had SF6 installed, and when I was given a gift of SF9 from my daughter, I installed it leaving SF6 in place. I recently purchased a new computer and would appreciate suggestions and/or words of wisdom as to whether it would be wise to install both versions. Are there any circumstances when it would be desirable to run SF6 rather than SF9? Or it the latter sufficient? TIA. |

Some folks claim that version 6 was the most stable version. I haven't had any trouble with any of them. If you're happy with 9 there's no reason to install 6. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt to have them both installed either. I like having two versions installed so that i can open up two Sound Forge windows simultaneously. You can't do that with only one version. |

Good idea. Thanks. I had never attempted to open multiple copies of SF. |
