Subject:crossfading loop issues

hi i was wondering if there was a way to have a bit more
control over crossfade loops.
whenever i make a loop it seems to randomly determine when
the point of crossfading is..i set it to 100% but it seems
more like the last 10 - 15 % of the file is crossfading.
any clues?
