can zoom h4n be used as an interface? -ACID Product Family

Posted by: s k r o o t a y p Date:2/6/2010 7:09:22 PM i've got a zoom h4n digital recorder that doubles as an interface for recording (comes w/ cubase LE 4 oem). samson support says it works with others programs also can anyone verify that it works with acid music studio 7? also, acid ms 7 works w/ xp, right? thanks much!

AMS, no probs - used it before I upgraded to Acid Pro. (But I wasn't able to find the deal in question via the URL you gave; was there a bit missing?) The beauty of the Zoom is that it can also be used as a stand-alone field recorder, but if you are never likely to use that functionality then it is possibly a wasted feature. Anyhow, I would ask around a little more. there are plenty of knowledgeable and helpful people around these parts. Ciao, marks
