Does the UAD 2 play nice with ACID 7 Pro? I love the sound of those plugs. I did a quick search here last night that didn't reveal much on whether the UAD 2 was compatible. Thanks! |

The UAD-2 has MAJOR problems (glitchs/spikes/distortion) when couple with Vista/Windows7 and any Steinberg host application. I never tried my UAD-2 with Acid7 when I did have Vista or 7 installed - the noise and horrible distortion was so bad in Nuendo...the OS didn;t last long enough to try anything else as I wiped the slate and reinstalled XP - and all is well. I still should conduct a comprehensive test of the UAD-2 plugs in Acid 7 tho...however believe it will be just fine.... Cheers! VP Message last edited on2/4/2010 11:57:49 AM byVocalpoint. |

That's good to know. Which UAD 2 card do you have and how many plugins can you run in a session? |
