Is it possible in Pro 7 to take a stereo track such as a softsynth on the bus and force it to ouput in mono for things like sub bass and possible kicks? |

You could bounce down the respective track with Ctrl + M and set the appropriate channels (either via a template or the "custom" button). HTH, Iacobus |

But there's no way to do it real time? Even by plugin means? |

Right-mouse-button click on the clip, choose Event clip / Channels. You can pick one channel only or combine the two into a single mono channel. |

I know that that some soft synths let you route a specific part of the synth to a specific output like KitCore does (which comes with ACID Pro 7). For example, you'd right-click KitCore in the Mixer, choose "Insert/Remove KitCore Outputs" and then select from a list of stereo or mono outputs. You'd then route a specific pad to this output within KitCore itself. You can then control volume, effects, etc. without affecting the rest of the pads in KitCore. Iacobus |
