Wanted to use Sound Forge 5's Normalize to RMS values on the Process menu from a Plug-In chain. Somewhere in the online help it seemed to imply that all of the commands on SF5's Process and Tools menus were available as a plug-in too. Can't quite figure out which one will cover the Normalize to RMS function. There's a couple of compressors, but they don't seem to allow a Normalize to RMS capability. |

Not all of Sound Forge's processes are available as DirectX plug-ins. Our XFX 1, 2, and 3 packages are sorted into the Process and Effects menus, but some of the options in these menus are built into the Sound Forge 5.0 application itself. Currently we do not make a DirectX plug-in that can do RMS normalization. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. |
