Well, I like most of the new features in Acid3 but I'm getting lots of popping and crackling during playback. If I have playback going and I place the mouse pointer over a button, I'll get a audio pop/dropout when the Tool Tip pops up. I also get lots of pops when moving the horizontal or vertical scroll bars during playback, to move around the arrange viewing area. Anyone else having similar Audio problems? I couldn't find any setting that would help fix the poping(like buffer sizes or something) I dont think its the audio drivers because I get the same popping no matter which audio device I use. Tested playback on SoundBlaster 128 and Midiman Delta 1010 and popping was very evident on both. I never experienced popping/dropouts like this when using Acid 1. My system specs: Pentium3 500Mhz 192Meg Ram At this point Audio performance is MUCH more solid in Acid1 than it is in Acid3. -Greg |

Oops, I did just find the buffer slider. Had to move Playback buffering up to .80-1.0 seconds to eliminate the popping.... Seems to be working ok now. |
