What happened, in 5.0b162, to the ability to bit depth convert from 16 to 24 bit? That choice is no longer available via the Process | Bit-Depth Converter menu?? Thanks, Michael |

I got this today from support. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm glad I asked. "Instead of using the Bit-Depth Converter, you can just right-click on the Sample Size box in the lower right of SF and choose your desired bitrate (or go to File -> Properties -> Format). There really isn't a downside to this, as the Dither and Noise-Shaping options don't apply when changing to a higher bitrate anyway." |
