It took some looking but I found where you can buy
ACID PRO 3 online for $99.

The offer is for an UPGRADE, though nothing is stopping you from registering ACID Style for $35 and
upgrading it......$135 for ACID Pro- pretty f-ing great deal!

No. It's NOT for an upgrade. $99 gets you a complete
version. No previous version required. Of course that's the
download price.

I called and spoke to a sells person. I was told this
offer is only for the upgrade. Call for yourself.

It worked for me. No old serial numbers. Even though I am a
registered user of ACID Music 2.0. Pay the $99 and get the
program no old numbers or anything.

I'm sure sonicfoundry would rather have you pay $300+
dollars. Go for it!

Well, in an email from SF it was stated:

"Through June 15 - save over $250 on ACID PRO 3.0!"

I seriously doubt an upgrade would ever cost $350, so
I say that the $99 offer is for the full pro version,
no previous version of Acid required. If this is
wrong, I think an admin should post here stating so.

I stand corrected- it sure does read like $99 for the full version; all I know is, I'm ponying up the dough for 3
point 0!
BTW- $349 is the price given (in the spring 2001 catalog that I just got in the mail) for the downloadable
upgrade from ACID Style 2.0 to ACID Pro 3.0- glad I waited!
