does anyone know how to make those fast repeated snare drum
beats i am new to this would apreciate any help at all

Try setting the 'snap to' or 'grid spacing' to
something small like 8ths, 16ths etc, and use the
paint tool. Make sure your snare sound is set to 'one-
shot' properties. If you're using Acid 3.0 to paint
one-shots, press the crtl key while painting. The
manual is quite easy to read and really informative
btw.
