Subject:Expansion tool?

Pardon me if this has been answered but a search didn't
reveal the topic. I'm using SF 5.0b. I have a cassette tape
apparently made on a low priced recorder with built in
limiting/compression. The music I am restoring sounds like
one of those TV sports broadcasts where the processing is
so heavy the announcer's voice punches holes in the crowd
noise. In SF the Effects, Dynamics, Graphic tool is nice
for compression. I can't set it to expand peaks slightly. I
will need to experiment of course but I can't make the tool
work for expansion. Will it?
