I've been trying to get good quality distortion for a long time now on this program and i still can't get it. I know how to put almost every effect under the sun on my music but, the distortion effect has me boggled be yound belief. If someone could please post their settings or tell me how to do this I would be very thankfull. :) |

First you need to spend about $300 on a line 6 pod or something similar. Or maybe a thousand on a nice stack and another few hundred on some mics and a preamp. Otherwise you're SOL. ;-) |

I've experimented a bit with Forge's distortion, which can yield interesting effects, but it's not gonna sound like a stack. I know that there are some DirectX plugs that emulate close mic-ing of speaker cabinets and distortion. You might check: http://www.thedirectxfiles.com |
