Disappointed to see that in Acid Pro 7 you can't right click on an event and open it in SoundForge. Also a big bummer is where the normalize switch is located... am used to seeing that in the "Switches" section as it is in Vegas. Also a drag that normalize affects all clips on a track.... Others have experiences different than mine? Much thanks, Frank |

I dont use it much but was pretty sure this would work. Preferences-Editing....there are three slots to choose an editing app. I used wavepad. Now right click the event and choose "Clip Properties" then right click on the displayed event and "Edit in Wavepad" is there. It would be handier if it were in the actual timeline. |

It did used to be in the timeline directly (I think in AP5/AP6?), but as you say, in AP7 it's been moved into a sub-menu. Bit of a backward step, but I guess it's somehow related to having multiple loops / hits on a single track which is a feature I love! |

As April.exe says: if you go into the preferences: go to the 'editing' tab you will be able to choose your editing application ( 3x ). Browse there to your Soundforge installation folder and .exe If SF has been chosen you'll be able to right-click a clip on your timeline and select 'event clip' and 'edit in soundforge' - hope this is what you'r e looking for! |
