Subject:ACID 3.0 and DXi

Does anyone know of ACID 3.0 is capable of using DXi
plugins. None of the info on the site is very clear about
this.

No, it does not. Acid only supports standard Direct-X plug-
ins.

ACID will, however, use DLS files, which essentially means
that it can use a set of sounds (contained in the DLS file)
to render MIDI to audio using whatever DLS you have
selected. Windows comes with the GM.DLS (which we use by
default) and others are out there on the web for sale and
download. DXi support is a good idea for the future.
