Subject:Track titles from file names

I recently upgraded to SF 10 and would like to build and burn my CDs from within that application. Previously, using SF 9 and earlier I would edit my songs in SF and then export them to CD Architect and/or merely open CD Architect and double-click on each song that I wanted included in the order that was required.

When I did either of those operations the names of the tracks (the filename.wav) was included in the track name area and I would burn the CD without having to re-type track names. I cannot find out how to get the filename of the songs I have to included as the track names using SF 10 when building a CD.

I have close to 1000 songs that I select from to create the CDs to be used at my church during services and copying and pasting the filenames into the track name for each song as I use it does not appeal to me.

If someone could point out where I have missed a preference setting or something that would be most appreciated. Or, if someone knows of an application that would create song names from filenames that, too, would be helpful.

Why would you prefer burning DAO CDs from SF rather than CD-A ?!!!

If I choose to use SF 10 as my audio mastering application it does not have (unless they have moved it) an "Export to CD" choice which is what I use in SF 9 after I have edited a song and need to add it to my CD tracks in CD-A. I just thought it would be easier to begin building my CD in SF 10 and after editing a song be able to add it to the list.

Are you trying to get CD text?

Yes, my player at church reads it.

when I add files to the CD-A timeline by dragging and dropping from its internal explorer window the file name becomes the CD text. Can you prep all your files in SF then drop them all to the timeline in CD-A? If you did them in the order you wanted them to appear you could sort by date modified before dropping onto the timeline. Similarly you could name the files 01, 02...
Note also the check box in the CD-A burn CD dialog to include CD text info.

Sorry but I'm not familiar with using SF to create a CD-A project.
