Hello, My problem is song volume after mixing and rendereing to a wave file. I am using Acid pro on a lap top. I rendering the song then import it to I-tunes where I will then burn a c.d. or export to an i-pod or i-phone. The problem is one of my songs is always louder that the other and one song is always lower than the others. When I am done mixing, with each they both have the same output vol In Acid Pro, but when they are played in I-Tunes one is louder than the other. And when then transferd to a c.d. or ipod the difference is even more noticeable. No matter what I do i.e. raisng lowering overall vol, or adding the waves maximiser fixes it, even though it sonds like it in Acid Pro. I have tried not using the maximiser and still the same results. It appeares to me every project always has one song that is always louder than the others. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I need 4 songs for a local radio statio asap. Thank you |

Not sure what's going on there; the rendered project's volume should be identical to the Mixer's master volume in ACID Pro pre-render. As a curiosity, did you try listening to the render in an audio editor like Sound Forge? Iacobus |

Why go through iTunes? That's a lot of extra steps that modify and compress the file for no purpose. Burn a CD in ACID and see how that sounds. That should be the same as what you hear while working in ACID. |
