Subject:Edit in SoundForge bug?

I have two clips with multiple takes on the same track. I right-click the second clip and choose edit in Soundforge. Whether it is SF8 or SF10 the first clip is opened rather than the one I have highlighted. To edit the second clip I have to drag it to another empty track. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,

Kit

It looks like this is either a bug or just extremely odd behavior. It always edits the Paint Clip. Right-click the track header and change the Paint Clip to the one you want to edit and that's the clip that gets sent to Sound Forge regardless of what clip you have selected on the track. I would have expected the clip that I clicked on to get sent. This doesn't seem very intuitive but that's how it works.

Thanks Johnny, it works as you said. I find this incredibly annoying behaviour. Not being able to right-click a clip on the time line and open it directly in SoundForge is very poor. Why only the Paint Clip? I find right-clicking the track header very awkward, there seems to only be a small area where right-clicks are accepted. It seems Acid becomes less intuitive with every new version.

Click on the clip to highlight then go to the track properties window, the chosen clip will be highlighted. Right click on the clip in the track properties window to open in your chosen editor.
