Based on all the discussion on this topic in this forum over the last 10 years i'd say the chances are just about zero or less. Run Windows on your Mac, or get a PC. Either way, you open yourself up to a much vaster array of software and solutions than you'll get with the MacOS. |

I have to admit the one program I'll miss when I go full-time on my Mac & Digital Performer is Acid to use in loop creation. There may well be a good program out there; I'll just have to search it out. I've never used Acid 6 as a daw program on the pc; I have a serious daw program in Sonar 8.3.1 to do the recording. I refuse to load Windoze on my new MacPro desktop. Why pollute it with an inferior OS? I used to dread losing Soundforge, but I've found Bias Peak Pro XT, while pricy, every bit as good as SF. It's just the way I'm feeling more and more comfortable working. Others may, can and will differ. Jack |
